Short questions, one at a time. You don't need to know anything about circuits or RCDs: I work everything out behind the scenes to NEN 1010 (the Dutch wiring standard). After three photos and your details you get your quote straight away.

Do you have a single-phase or a three-phase supply?

You can see this on your energy bill or on your smart meter. You don't need to open anything.

How to tell, without opening anything

  • Your energy bill or your supplier's app shows your connection rating, for example 1x35 A or 3x25 A. The number before the x is the number of phases.
  • On your smart meter: use the button to scroll through the screens. If you see three voltages (L1, L2 and L3), you have three-phase.
  • Not sure? Then choose "I don't know". I will check it on the photo of your meter cupboard. You don't need to be certain of anything.
Why do I ask this?

With three-phase I fit a 4-pole main switch and spread the circuits over the three phases. With single-phase everything runs over one wire, and then a fast EV charger, for example, won't fit.
