Cookies
I only use cookies that the site needs to work. No tracking, no ads and no other parties looking over your shoulder. Below you can see exactly what is stored, what for and for how long.
What are cookies?
A cookie is a small text file that a website puts in your browser. Local storage is similar: it is also a spot in your browser where a website can remember something. The difference is that a cookie goes back to the website on every visit, while local storage stays in your browser only.
I sort everything into types. You can switch them on or off yourself below under Cookie settings:
- Necessary: always on. Needed to send forms securely, log in to the customer portal and remember your cookie choice.
- Functional: on, but you can switch it off. The reading aid then remembers your choices.
- Referral: off, only with your consent. For the link from a customer who referred you to me.
- Statistics and advertising: not in use. I do not use those cookies.
If you switch something off, the website no longer works quite as intended. Each type says exactly what stops working.

This applies to everyone who visits the website. Anything you switch off, I delete straight away.

No other parties
My website contains nothing from Google Analytics, Facebook, YouTube, Google Maps or ad networks. Fonts, drawings and the map all come from my own server. So your visit is not passed on to other companies.
I also keep no visitor statistics with cookies and show no ads. That is why statistics and advertising are set to “Not in use” in the settings. Should I ever want that, I will ask your consent first and list it here.
Do you use the read-aloud feature of the reading aid? Then your own browser does the reading. Some browsers fetch the voice from their own maker; that is outside my control.
Cookie settings: change or withdraw your choice
Loading your choice.
At the bottom of every page there is also a “Cookie settings” link. It opens these choices anywhere on the site.
You can also clear everything yourself in your browser settings: look for “cookies and site data” and remove those for powernexx.nl. You will then also lose your reading aid choices. If you block necessary cookies completely, forms and the customer portal will stop working.
Your choice is only stored in your own browser. I do not send it to my server. So on another device or in another browser I will ask again.
