Which EV charger suits your car?

Enter your number plate. Using the RDW (Dutch vehicle authority) data you see straight away which EV charger suits your car and how long charging takes.

Why an EV charger at home?

Charging at home is convenient, cheaper and better for the environment than public charging. The car charges overnight while you sleep, a full battery every morning.

Electricity at home is a lot cheaper than charging at a public charger. Combine it with solar panels or a night tariff for the biggest saving.

Which EV charger suits you?

I install all the well-known brands, certified.

Other brands are possible too: easee, Heidelberg, ABL, EVBox, KEBA. Ask for advice.

Business EV chargers qualify for the MIA (Dutch environmental investment allowance). Up to 36% extra deduction for profit tax. I supply the right documentation for your accountant.

For a lease car

With a lease car, the leasing company or your employer often pays for the EV charger. If you like, I invoice them directly. Ask about the options.

Questions about the EV charger

More in the knowledge base

How long does it take to install an EV charger?

On average 2 to 4 hours. If the consumer unit needs changes or there is extra work, it takes longer; I always tell you beforehand. The power is only off briefly while I connect it.

Which brand of EV charger should I choose?

That depends on your car, your situation and what you want. I am a Zaptec Certified Partner, but I also install Wallbox, Alfen, easee and other well-known brands. My number plate check gives you advice straight away. For tailored advice: call me or request a quote.

How do I know whether I need single-phase or three-phase?

My free number plate check gives you advice straight away. Rule of thumb: modern EVs with a bigger battery benefit from three-phase (faster charging). Smaller EVs or city cars manage perfectly well on single-phase.

What if my consumer unit has no room?

Then the consumer unit has to be extended or replaced first. I am happy to combine that on the same day, which saves time and money.

Can I link my EV charger to solar panels?

Yes, with smart EV chargers (Zaptec, easee). The charger then mainly uses surplus solar power. That needs the right configuration and sometimes energy management. I advise you during the intake.

Do I get a guarantee on the EV charger?

Yes. My installation comes with a 2-year guarantee, on top of the manufacturer's warranty. Faulty? I sort it out.

Do you work across the Netherlands?

Yes, for planned installations I come out anywhere in the Netherlands.

How does it go from quote to installation?

1) Number plate check or contact form, 2) phone intake within 1 working day, 3) a site visit if needed, 4) quote with a guide price (extra work only with your approval), 5) booking a date, 6) installation of 2 to 4 hours, 7) testing, explanation and invoice in your customer portal.
