Is the power grid full where you live?

In more and more places the grid is full. Enter your postcode and you will see your grid operator and whether there is currently a queue for a heavier connection.

How it works

  1. Check your postcode

I fetch your grid operator and the state of the grid live, from the national capacity map.

  2. See the status and waiting time

You see straight away whether there is a queue and the expected lead time for a heavier connection.

  3. I arrange it

I submit the application to the grid operator and do the work in your meter cupboard.

What does the status mean?

  • Capacity availableA heavier connection is usually possible within the normal time.
  • Limited availabilityThere is still capacity, but it is running out. It pays to apply in good time.
  • Under investigationThe grid operator is investigating congestion on the grid; there may be a queue.
  • Grid full, queueA heavier connection goes on a waiting list. I will help you get a place.

Apply for a heavier connection

I handle the application with your grid operator and the work in the meter cupboard. Fill in your details and I will get in touch. You receive a copy by email straight away.
