Make a circuit chart

Fill in your consumer unit and download neat stickers as a PDF. You see your unit take shape straight away. Nothing is stored.

Would you rather I did it, or is your unit due for replacement? Call 043 204 18 26 or request a quote.

Why label your circuits?

When you need it, you are usually standing in the dark. An RCD that trips, a circuit that is not working: you want to see straight away which switch belongs to which room, not flip every circuit one by one. A readable circuit chart saves you that hassle, and when you sell your home it shows the installation is in order.

Can I do this myself?

You can put the stickers on yourself. Changing anything in the meter cupboard itself, no: that is work on the installation and it is live. NEN 1010 expects it to be clear at the distribution board which circuit goes where, hence this tool.

Is the unit due for replacement?

A few signs: no RCD yet, ceramic fuses instead of circuit breakers, fewer than four circuits in a house full of appliances, or an RCD that regularly trips for no obvious reason. Not sure? Send a photo of your meter cupboard and I will tell you honestly whether it is needed.
